January 2010
I keep having really bizarre dreams.
Last night I dreamt that I was in Mexico City again, and I was walking around a market on stilts, and I found a little bookstore that had a huge stash of Polaroid film, so I bought some.
Apparently those are the kind of things that are on my mind before I fall asleep. Hmm.

I haven’t taken any good photos in a long time. It’s so frustrating. I need some kind of inspiration, an idea for a project, anything. I just feel so drained right now. I haven’t taken anything that I really like since, I don’t know, November. I don’t know what’s wrong with me.

I dreamt that I was in London again, but none of the places looked the same, and all the buildings were exploding, but for some reason I wasn’t afraid.

The house has been colder for the past week, even though the weather has been warmer. I think it’s because both of my sisters are gone now. They went back to their universities, one 250 miles away, and the other 1,174. A house can lose warmth when there aren’t as many people in it, right? Or perhaps this is just all in my head.
I think bands don't like Dallas.
Recently, each time a good band or musician goes on tour, they don’t come to Dallas. Even Spoon, who are from Austin (just three hours away!), aren’t playing here on their next tour. SO frustrating. The good bands always go to Austin. I can’t really blame them though, Austin > Dallas.
It’s just another reason why I want to get out of Dallas.
